December 16, 2014 - Regular Meeting Agenda Item #60 Item Title D-6 Public Hearing on Charter School Agreement with Florida Charter Education Foundation, Inc. d.b.a. Clay Charter Academy Issue/Rationale The School Board approved the charter application for Clay Charter Academy. Florida law requires that the parties enter into a contract subsequent to approval of the application and prior to commencement of school operations, which contract, (Charter) sets forth the duties and responsibilities of the parties. Florida Statutes also require a Public Hearing on the matter before the contract is signed. Recommended Action Recommend approval of the contract. Financial Impact None at this time.
